Molly-Mae Hague has shared a terrifying ordeal with her fans, revealing that a fire broke out at her £5million mansion as she was enjoying a relaxing bath. The 26-year-old influencer and Maebe founder took to YouTube to recount the dramatic moment, which began with her security messaging her to ask if the fire in her skip was intentional.
In her video, she explained: “The security company is calling me, and they’re like, ‘Just to ask you a question, is the fire in your skip on purpose? Is there meant to be a fire in your skip?’ I’m like, ‘Give me a second,’ run to my builder Glen, and I’m like, ‘Glen, there’s a fire!’”
Despite the alarming situation, Glen reassured her that they had it under control, but Molly-Mae was understandably shocked, adding: “The full skip set it on fire. Like, what? What the hell is going on this morning? All I’m trying to do is have a shower and find an outfit for this baby brunch tomorrow and instead, I’m Fireman Sam over here.”:max_bytes(150000):strip_icc():focal(999x539:1001x541)/molly-mae-hague-tommy-fury-1-cb91f97ddbc94f90993db9b1dc49d5d6.jpg)
While Molly-Mae and her fiancé, Tommy Fury, are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their second child, their daughter Bambi, three, is already adjusting to the news of having a new sibling. Molly-Mae’s new video reflects not just the fire incident but also her emotional journey through parenthood.
In the video, she shared how becoming a mother has made her more fearful of the world around her. “A lot of things terrify me at the minute. Since becoming a mum, I have become so scared of everything,” she said, revealing how she now sees “danger around every single corner.”
She further opened up about how she used to be fearless, saying, “I never ever used to be scared of anything. I was the non-scared one in the group.” However, motherhood has caused a shift in her perception. “When you become a mum, your sense of danger just personifies,” she explained, adding that she now worries constantly, from taking Ubers to even getting on a plane.
But despite the fears, Molly-Mae expressed her commitment to protecting her daughter and herself. “I’m not just living for me anymore, I’m living for a child,” she said. “You have so much more responsibility when you become a parent that you have to sort of safeguard yourself a bit more.”
With her due date fast approaching on June 12, Molly-Mae is counting down the days, while continuing to share her emotional journey with her fans.
