Lorna Luxe says she is now exploring the idea of having children
At the time the couple married, they had tried to conceive but were unsuccessful. And since then, by her own admission, she focused on her career.
Speaking to The Times, she said: “Over the past couple of years I’d say, ‘Do you think we should have done something about that? Shall we go and get me checked out?’.”
She added: “But then John got ill… I don’t dwell on what might have been, but just recently I was asking the guy who does my Botox if I should freeze my eggs. I’ve always been part of a partnership now I’ve got these big decisions to make alone.”
One of the big decisions was to move out of the couples home in Moreton Paddox last year while renovations were underway. And now, she has moved into a brand new temporary home with her pet pooch until the renovations are complete.
Taking to her Instagram earlier this week, the influencer shared pictures of her lavish home and wrote: “I’ve whacked all my stuff in storage so it’s a bit disorientating for Kev-bear.”
She continued: “We moved in with a suitcase of clothes, a corkscrew and a kettle… I hadn’t anticipated having to move out of our last place so this has all been a bit stressful but you know what, John would be so proud that I pulled it off and found me and Bear an even better gaff to ‘temporarily’ call home’. “
But she has been keeping a stern eye on the progress of the home she once shared with John but told fans that she found it difficult.
She penned: “I’m having to be John today and head to Ghost House in a bit for the quarterly site progress meeting. All the contractors working the site are going to walk me through their plans, and then I get to share anything I want changing. She continued: “We were both so excited to get back to there. Very bittersweet this.”
In another emotional post she said: “I’ve got a busy day today. I’m going to Ghost House shortly, and there’s a big meeting happening today where all the people that have been working together on the rebuild are coming together to just explain what they’ve been doing, what we’ve got to do next, and how on track are we?”
“I’ve been told it’s going to be August that I get the house back, so it’ll have been a year since John and I moved out. It’s meant to be six months, so massively over the time frame, but I think I’m going to get a house back that I’m really happy with. And yeah, be really nice to be home. I’m really missing it now – I don’t know what the next few months are going to look like for me, so I’m not going to think about it, but the game plan is moving back in August.”
Back in February she returned to social media after taking a break to grieve John’s loss. She wrote at the time: “On Friday, the 43 year old influencer took to Instagram and wrote: “I’m checking in. I’ve been quiet on here but I promise I’m reading your messages and comments daily. They’re real comfort. Thank you for being so kind and taking time to message me, it means more than you will ever know.”
