Katie Price has publicly called out her husband, Lee Andrews, for failing to show up for their scheduled interview on Good Morning Britain. Lee, 42, was supposed to travel to the UK to reunite with his wife on Monday. However, he missed his flight, later claiming he was a “busy man” with other commitments. He added that he would still be on his way. But as the hours passed and no sign of Lee appeared, Katie, 47, took to her podcast to discuss the situation with her sister, Sophie Price.
Katie explained that Lee had assured her that he would fly in for their GMB interview. However, on Monday, Lee claimed to have faced an issue with his visa, which prevented him from boarding the flight. She went further by saying that she contacted the Foreign Office to check his status, revealing that they had detained a British man with his name and date of birth.
Sophie, however, was less forgiving, insisting that Lee had “mugged” Katie off and humiliated her publicly by failing to show up on live TV. Katie admitted, “I said to him, ‘You’ve made me look a massive dk, you’ve made yourself look a massive dk.’” She went on to describe the situation as a “soap opera,” referring to the constant back-and-forth of whether or not Lee would show up. “It’s now become a soap opera, some form of EastEnders — is he coming, isn’t he? It’s all built up now,” Katie continued.
Katie expressed that she had long preferred to keep her relationships more private. However, she acknowledged that her ongoing situation with Lee had become public and said, “At the end of the day, it is between me and him, not anyone else.”
Katie also addressed the speculation surrounding Lee’s absence, saying she had given him an ultimatum: he needed to come to the UK, or she would start questioning the truth behind his excuses. “If he does make it, it will shut up all the rumours, because at the moment, everyone thinks he is on a flight ban,” Katie explained. She went on to say that his continual failure to show up in the UK while she frequently flew to Dubai raised doubts about his honesty.
“Don’t do that to me again,” Katie urged. “Don’t go on live TV without you and make me look stupid and a dk.” She further emphasized that if Lee could not make it to the UK, she expected answers. “If you can’t come to the UK and you are on a flight ban, it’s fine, just tell me,” Katie insisted. “I said if he doesn’t come to the UK, I want answers. Just a bit of respect because it isn’t fair on me, it’s not fair on everyone else, and I get everyone is invested in it and giving me st.”
Katie revealed that the only major disappointment in her marriage to Lee was his failure to attend the interview and his lack of communication regarding the situation. “The only thing he has done to disappoint me is not come to England when he says he is, especially when I’m going on live TV and he doesn’t turn up,” she admitted.
Meanwhile, Lee’s public statements seemed to create further confusion. On Tuesday, he shared a video on social media, claiming he was stuck in Muscat, Oman, and not detained as previously suggested. “I didn’t make Good Morning Britain. I had a couple of other things going on. I am not detained, I am in the airport in Muscat, Oman,” Lee said in the video. However, images from the filming location revealed inconsistencies in his claims. The ceiling design in the background of his video suggested he was actually at Dubai Airport, not in Muscat. Additionally, Lee appeared to be in a communal area, rather than a secured location after passing through airport security.
Lee also posted another video with a screenshot of his police app, attempting to prove that he had no travel restrictions. He added that he had already left the UAE and was on his way to the UK to see Katie.
Despite Lee’s assurances that he would make his way to the UK, Katie remained frustrated, expressing her desire to put the rumours to rest once and for all. “I just want him to visit here and shut everyone up,” she said. “So next week when we do the podcast, we will find out if he has come to England or not.”
The drama surrounding Lee’s absence continues to cause tension between the couple, and it seems that until Lee clears up the confusion, the public’s scrutiny will only intensify.
