Jeff Brazier has candidly spoken about the heartbreak of separating from his wife Kate Dwyer after 12 years of marriage. The former couple, who married in 2018 in Portugal, announced their split last summer, keeping it private initially to adjust to the change.
Speaking on Loose Men, Jeff reflected on the deep connection he shared with Kate: “I enjoyed belonging to someone. Kate was my person and vice versa. For 12 years, we were each other’s safe space, each other’s biggest supporters during busy, painful, and complex times.”
Despite the choice to end the marriage being his own, Jeff admits the separation has left a “big gaping space” and a sense of discomfort in his life. “When you’re sat there in the evening and your partner isn’t here anymore… you have to accept that’s what you chose,” he explained.
Jeff also opened up about the challenges of intimacy post-split and revealed he’s taking time to process the heartbreak before feeling ready to move forward.
