The Total Eclipse of the Heart star, who has a second home in the Algarve, Portugal, was rushed to Faro Hospital for emergency surgery after experiencing severe abdominal pain during her visit.
Bonnie had previously sought medical attention in London, where tests failed to detect the issue. Two days after traveling to Portugal, the pain intensified, leading to a diagnosis of a burst appendix, which required urgent surgery. Her condition worsened, and she was placed in an induced coma to aid her recovery.
The singer’s spokesperson confirmed that the surgery was successful but stated that Bonnie’s condition remains critical, and her recovery is uncertain. Fans and friends continue to pray for a full and speedy recovery.
