Reflecting on his years of filler use, Bobby said, “I was really abusing fillers, and for a ten-year window, I was going every 12 weeks. Some people don’t even go to the hairdresser that often. It wasn’t subtle, and it’s important for people to realize that while fillers aren’t permanent, there’s always a line you can cross.”
He went on to explain the impact of this long-term use, saying, “Skin is about elasticity, and I’d stretched it. It’s like filling up a balloon for ten years and then one day trying to pop the balloon—it’s going to be stretched out and baggy.”
Bobby’s decision to undergo surgery was partly fueled by the constant pressure he felt from both social media and online trolls. Over the course of the pandemic, he said, he began reflecting on his appearance after seeing himself in old TOWIE reruns. “It wasn’t until I sat back during lockdown and started looking at old pictures that I realized how much things had changed. After suffering a series of health issues last year, Bobby visited a doctor, who gave him a stark warning. “The doctor was honest with me,” Bobby said. “They said, ‘You could be dead in twelve hours.’ That was a wake-up call. It made me realize that I can’t wait until my 40s to fix things. Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.”
Despite his physical transformation, Bobby stressed that he had no regrets about his decision. He took to social media to share his recovery journey, revealing the bruises and swelling from the surgery to his followers. “I think it’s important to be honest,” Bobby said. “A lot of people aren’t open about their cosmetic work. They lie about how they look and claim it’s all about ‘sleep and water’—but that’s just not true. I want to be upfront with my followers because I’ve always been transparent about my life.”
Bobby, who has become known for his glamorous social media posts, also commented on the unrealistic portrayals of beauty and wellness in the influencer community. “People get upset when they see things that are unrealistic,” he said. “They think there’s some magic formula for looking great, but it’s not true. There’s no quick fix.”

I think I probably will do something else, maybe.”
