The stars are accustomed to the glamorous life and expect nothing less than first-class service.
Maya Jama’s Massive Pay Cut for the Show
One of the most interesting parts of this season’s cast is Maya Jama. While she’s known for her hosting duties on Love Island, the 31-year-old star has reportedly taken a huge pay cut to appear on Celebrity Traitors. It’s said that Maya slashed her usual £800K paycheque down to just £40,000 – a whopping £760,000 less than what she typically commands.
Why the drastic cut? Well, Maya is a huge fan of the show. According to sources, she fell in love with the show while watching it at home with her boyfriend, footballer Rúben Dias. “She’s excited to be part of the series and can’t wait to show off her skills in deception,” the insider adds. Plus, after filming in the Scottish Highlands, she’ll head straight to Majorca to begin Love Island filming for the summer. Talk about a busy schedule!
