BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty isn’t one to stay silent when faced with online criticism. The morning TV favourite recently took a cheeky swipe at a troll who labelled her “the most annoying person on TV.”
The interaction began after the show’s Twitter account shared the news that a mechanical bull from the 2022 Commonwealth Games ceremony had been saved. Excited, Naga simply replied, “Yay.”
But one viewer responded with a now-deleted tweet: “Can I just say Naga. I can’t explain why but I find you the most annoying person on TV.”

Naga hit back with her trademark wit, poking fun at the comment while keeping it light-hearted: “I just can’t understand why people don’t know how to use apostrophes, William. Ho hum. We all have a cross to bear. X.”
The BBC star’s response has been praised by fans for its humour and grace, proving once again that she can handle trolls with style. She joins other TV personalities like GMB host Susanna Reid, who also isn’t afraid to clap back at online critics.
