In a surprising shake-up, This Morning fans were left puzzled as Alison Hammond was mysteriously absent from today’s (May 8) episode, with Josie Gibson stepping in to co-host alongside Dermot O’Leary.
Alison’s absence was not addressed during the show, and both Josie and Alison remained tight-lipped on social media, leaving viewers questioning what happened.
Dermot welcomed Josie, who was dubbed the “Queen of the West Country” after her successful ITV show Josie’s Taste of The Westcountry. However, not all viewers were thrilled with the change. Some fans took to social media, voicing their disappointment over the new presenting duo.
One viewer wrote, “We’ve got the two simpletons today, and together they’re only a smidge less annoying than Dermot and Alison.” Another remarked, “No Alison? but we have Josie instead.”
