In the interview with Jamie, Paris also explained exactly why she decided to name four of her seven children ‘Prince.’ Saying after she named the first one Prince, it felt unfair to not give the rest of them the title too.
The couple are parents to Venezuela, 16, Prince John James, 14, Prince Tyson Fury II, nine, Valencia Amber, eight, Prince Adonis Amaziah, seven, Athena, four, and little Prince Rico Paris Fury, two.
In the same interview, she also opened up about her husband’s fallout with his father John, explaining that they both run hot and cold. “They always go through this. You know you’ve got two very headstrong people. One probably more headstrong than the other.”
She added: “Everyone’s saying it is a social media stunt and it’s not. It’s a family rift that’s going on at the moment and I hope they resolve it because I think there’s nothing more important than your family.
“I know they love each other deeply deep down and for whatever reason whether it be pride, or whatever – they have an issue, his dad has an issue. And I hope they can resolve it.
She added: “Tyson knew his dad had certain feelings to people in the camp and he’s always said I am my own man and I’ll do things my own way, and he has always done that. And that this is where he’s got for it, so he looks at it like, ‘I’ve done my own choices all my life.’
“His dad’s had opinions on different things he shouldn’t have done in the past and he’s done and it’s went unbelievably well. He said don’t fight Deontay Wilder. It’s the best trilogy in boxing history.”
In March, he told Daily Mail that boxing had “completely destroyed” his relationship with his son: “My relationship with Tyson is destroyed. Boxing destroyed it completely. I’ll say it on camera: I’ve never taken £10 off him in my life and I never will. I don’t want Tyson’s money and I don’t need Tyson’s money.
“Whatever he’s got, good luck to him. But, don’t forget who built his story when he was a kid. He didn’t build it himself, did he? Me, his father.” Tyson replied in April that he wasn’t bothered if his father supported him: “I’m unaware of what has happened but he’s entitled to his opinion. Just like everyone is and I’m sure he’ll change it a million times over and over again. I haven’t really paid attention to it because I take it with a pinch of salt. He might have been upset, he might have been a bit down or he might have been depressed. I don’t know what he was going through.
“I don’t know if he will turn up and I don’t care. I’ve got business to take care of and who’s in the crowd is not important to me at all. All I am going to be thinking about is Arslanbek Makhmudov and looking forward to it and getting the job done.”
