Susanna Reid fans rush to her defence as rival broadcaster launches blistering attack on ‘untrustworthy’ Good Morning Britain host

Susanna Reid‘s fans have rushed to her defence as a rival broadcaster launched a blistering attack on the Good Morning Britain host, saying she ‘can’t be trusted’.

Former TalkTV presenter Mike Graham took a brutal swipe at the ITV star, hitting out against her interviewing skills under a clip from GMB posted online.

Mike stepped back from presenting on TalkTV last year, with the broadcaster confirming his departure from his regular breakfast show slot in November.

His departure came after a racist post appeared on his Facebook account, which he insisted was down to a hacker – and he ‘failed’ to assist in the enquiry.

Despite no longer being on breakfast TV, Mike took aim at Susanna, 55, after the broadcaster interviewed Nadine Dorries back in October 2025.

In a resurfaced clip that was doing the rounds on social media, Mike took to X to re-share the video, before dishing out his thoughts on Susanna’s interview.

He wrote: ‘Because Susanna Reid buys every establishment narrative, she can’t be trusted to ask questions about the real truth… BBC through and through.’

But Susanna’s fans were quick to hit back, and flooded the comments section in her deference, as other viewers continued to rip into her.

One penned on X, according to The Express: ‘She doesn’t buy it. She reads it. That’s it. You’re giving the script readers far too much credit.’

Someone else disagreed: ‘Can’t even watch her,’ as a third once again retorted: ‘Susanna Reid is an excellent journalist and presenter who is very good at her job and you can only dream of being as good as she is.’

‘Well done for presenting the alternative viewpoint clearly,’ a fourth wrote, as a fifth chimed in: ‘Susanna is asking all the right questions.’

Mike was removed from TalkTV last November following a ‘vile’ racist post to his Facebook page which he insisted was hacked.

The journalist, 65, was suspended from his show Morning Glory soon after the post was published, but it was confirmed today he will not be returning.

The post featured a picture of a statue of Churchill alongside a picture of a crowded Tube carriage, with the caption: ‘Tell me we’re not f***ed by multicultural b***cks.

‘Why are we surrounded by non-white people? Just f*** off…’

It was accompanied by a picture of former prime minister Sir Winston Churchill’s statue by Big Ben next to the train picture, whose passengers included a woman wearing a hijab.

After considerable backlash, the former Scottish Mirror editor deleted the post and insisted it was made as a result of his Facebook page being hacked.

But keen-eyed viewers were quick to point out that an almost identical photo of the statue of Winston Churchill had been posted on Graham’s X account just moments before the Facebook post was published.

Staff were told Graham will not be returning to Talk.

Bosses accused Graham of initially agreeing to an independent investigation into the incident, but later declining several opportunities to do so.

A spokesperson for News UK, the parent company of Talk, said: ‘An abhorrent and vile post appeared on Mike Graham’s Facebook page in October.

‘Mike Graham said this was not posted by him and he agreed to cooperate with a company investigation, using an independent forensic firm.

‘He later reneged on several opportunities to cooperate with the company investigation.

‘We have been gravely concerned at his repeated failure to cooperate on such a serious matter and the decision has been taken that Mike Graham will not return to Talk.’

Graham later announced the launch of a new show, to be streamed on YouTube, making little comment on the nature of his departure from Talk.

In a statement online, he thanked all his supporters and shared plans to go it alone with The Mike Graham Show, described on YouTube as ‘the home of common sense’.

He added: ‘After an incredible journey as the presenter of Morning Glory on TalkTV my time at the station has come to an end – more on that in the coming days.

‘It has been truly enjoyable experience – a platform to engage in lively debate, connect with brilliant guests, and most importantly, to amplify the voices that matter most. Your voices.

‘That said, it’s time to move on to the next chapter. I’ve been immensely grateful to my viewers and listeners, without whom the show would have been nothing.’

Graham, who also hosts the Plank Of The Week podcast, previously denied it was him who posted the message.
