GORDON Ramsay has shared his joy at the news he is set to become a grandad for the first time.
The TV chef’s daughter Holly and her Olympian husband Adam Peaty revealed on Saturday that they are expecting their first child.
The couple, who wed in a stunning Bath ceremony last December, shared their baby news with a sweet post to Instagram.
In the post, Holly and Adam shared that their little one – a baby girl – is due this December.
And now, Gordon, who has six children with his wife Tana, has described himself as a “very excited grandad”.
“Congratulations to you both sending lots of love Dad ❤️,” began Gordon in his message underneath the post.
He continued: “I’m going to be a very over excited Grandad especially this Christmas 🤶 😍”.
As well as middle daughter Holly; Gordon is a dad to Megan, 28, Holly’s twin Jack, Matilda, 24, Oscar, 7, and two-year-old Jesse.
While this is their first child together, Adam is already dad to son George, five, from his relationship with ex-girlfriend Eirianedd Munro.
In addition to dad Gordon, a number of celebs such as Victoria Beckham, her son Romeo, Dan Walker, Rebecca Adlington and Oti Mabuse shared their congratulations.
However, Adam’s family weren’t amongst the well-wishers, with the champion swimmer, who is eyeing his fourth Games in LA in 2028, still not on speaking terms with his parents after a bitter fallout.
Mum Caroline and dad Mark were not in attendance at Bath Abbey when Adam and Holly tied the knot six months ago, after months of feud reports.
There have been accusations of bullying from the Peaty camp, which chef Gordon has strenuously denied, and of Adam changing after becoming enamoured by the Ramsay celebrity lifestyle.
However, Adam remains close to his sister Bethany, who acted as a maid of honour at the star-studded ceremony, which was attended by the Beckhams.
Adam has since adopted his wife’s name – with the couple both going by Ramsay-Peaty – in a similar fashion to the way Brooklyn Beckham took on his spouse Nicola Peltz’s surname.
