Noddy looked stylish in a beige coat and light blue trousers and brought his look to life in an eye-catching evil eye scarf around his neck.

He wore a matching pair of beige shoes as he spent some quality time with his other half on his special day.

Meanwhile, Suzan dressed up in a denim jacket with silver sleeves, black trousers and a leopard-print scarf.

The sighting comes after he revealed his previous health woes in 2023 after dealing with it in secret.

He underwent a groundbreaking new form of chemotherapy at The Christie Hospital in Manchester.

The songwriter told Sky News at the time: “I did have oesophageal cancer and that was five years ago and, at the moment, they’re still keeping a check on me.

“I’m on a level playing field at the moment after at the time being diagnosed with six months to live. So I’ve lasted the course, as it were.”

A few months prior, he explained: “It was touch and go. I lost all my hair. My weight was down to about eight stone. So every cloud.

“I’ve just had a scan last week and everything’s on an even keel at the moment, so I hope it carries on that way.”

Around the same time, his author wife Suzan revealed his diagnosis and credited his positive outlook for his survival.

“Five years ago we were given the devastating news that he had oesophageal cancer and only had six months to live.

“I’m sorry if that comes as a bit of a shock; it came as a total bombshell to us too.”

She said of his pioneering treatment in Cheshire magazine Great British Life: “There were no guarantees, no one knew if it would have any effect, let alone work miracles, but he responded well.

“As anyone who has received a cancer diagnosis will know, the experts never like to use the word ‘cure’, but here we are five years later and he’s feeling good and looking great.”

Suzan added: “The only advice I can offer to anyone facing a similar battle right now is to listen to your specialists and try to stay as positive as you can.”

The pair got married in 2004 and are parents to a son named Django.

Noddy is also father to two older daughters from his first marriage to dress designer Leandra Russell.

Slade, formed in Wolverhampton in 1966, went on to become one of the most influential glam rock bands of the 1970s, scoring six No1s, including seasonal fave Merry Xmas Everybody.
