Watch moment Holly Willoughby left screaming and swearing as she braves white-knuckle lap round F1 track
HOLLY Willoughby was left swearing and screaming as she took a spin around the Monaco Grand Prix circuit in a race car.
The former This Morning presenter was gripped by terror as she got a taste of what life is like behind the wheel on a world famous Formula 1 track.
The star even begged her driver to “please look after me, I have three children” as she experienced her first-ever hot lap of the famous street circuit.
In a video shared on Instagram, the 45-year-old can be heard squealing “Oh my God” and swearing as she was thrown around the track at speeds of up to 120mph.
Holly was driven by Alan van der Merwe, the South African racing driver who works as Formula One’s medical car driver.
As they tackled corners at speeds of around 70mph, Holly repeatedly shouted: “Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God.”

“It gets better from here,” Alan insisted as Holly continued to scream.
She later said: “I’ve literally broken out into a sweat. I’ve literally got tears in my eyes. Wow. Oh my God! Oh my God! I feel like I’m in a computer game.”
Alan reassured her afterwards: “You made it, you did very well for your first time around the circuit.”
“F***ing hell,” Holly replied with obvious relief.
Joking that she remained “totally composed” throughout the experience, Holly apologised for her “language” as she shared the clip with fans.
She wrote: “Completely calm. Totally composed. Absolutely did not scream through every corner of the Monaco Grand Prix track.
“@williamsf1team can confirm. (They cannot confirm.) … Special mention for ALAAAAANNN! I can only apologise for the noise and the language at the end!”
Her celebrity pals were quick to see the funny side, with Emma Bunton, Nicole Appleton and Carol Vorderman all commenting.
Nicole wrote: “I’m crying! That’s what I’m like at 30mph!!!”
Emma added: “This made me laugh so much.”
Holly replied: “Emma you should do it! We can get Alan a Baby on Board sign.”
Carol joked: “Bliss… being thrown round a track in a ‘safety car’ … done that a fair few times over the years … love love. Well done missus.”
